Our Products

Playbooks® Roleplay Reader™ offers an array of story sets, kits, and collections to fit the needs of any type of program or grade level. Games and other materials and accessories are available with select titles. See below for a description of our categories, then use the links at the left to start browsing and putting together the right materials for your program.

  • Small Group Sets include one story title with a book copy for each reader and an extra copy for the instructor. Small group sets are available in both spiral bound and saddle stitch binding formats. Sets include everything needed.

  • Cross-Curricular Supplements Playbook® stories include engaging activities to accompany and reinforce ideas from the story. Activities include: crossword puzzles, word search, vocabulary flash cards, writing prompts, story mapping, and word problems. Content areas include: Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, Language Arts, and Character Education.

  • Reader's Theater, Jr.™ for Preschool through Kindergarten is specially structured for transitioning through the early reading process with choral teams and teacher interaction to build up to a full reader’s theater experience for emerging and nonreaders.

  • Staff Training Webinars are included in every Grade Level Kit and can also be purchased separately. Webinar teaches easy step-by-step implementation for getting started with a reader’s theater program and recording student progress.

Sharing and Rotation of Kits - For those on limited budgets, it is feasible to purchase kits and share the story sets within them with other sites. Then on a weekly basis sites can switch story sets for rotation among students.

Lending Library - Although it's ideal for every site to have their own kits, it sometimes may not fit your budget. The solution is to purchase at least one kit for each age group range (for example, Grades K-2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12) and then make them available for checkout from your main office. This way, your sites will have access to this valuable resource and be able to try them out or pilot them. Then once they have become familiar with them, they can look to purchase their own kits. All kits come with a free recorded training webinar which will be helpful for those not familiar with the material or methodology.
